  • Commercial design and not designed/built to ASTM D1998.
  • Snyder Commercial tanks are for use in less severe applications. Consult Snyder's Chemical Resistance Recommendation Chart or a Snyder Representative to see if tank should be ordered as a heavier wall Industrial ASTM D1998 vertical tank design or not.
  • Commercial Tanks are only available in High-Density Linear Polyethylene (HDLPE) which complies with FDA Regulation 177.1520 and NSF/ANSI 61 standards.
  • Tanks come standard in natural translucent color. Black tanks are available as a purchased option.
  • Specific gravity ratings for commercial tanks are in 1.5 SG and 1.9 SG only. Smaller sizes (below 500 gallons) are 1.9 SG only.
  • Tanks come either with a standard outlet fitting or no outlet fitting. The standard outlet fitting sizes are noted in the outlet size column. Standard fittings are polypropylene (PP) with EPDM gaskets. See drawings for standard fitting locations.
  • Horizontal Leg Tanks 730 gallons and larger require hoops for structural support.
